Who I am

My name is Ziona Agyemang and I am a senior student at UNC Charlotte seeking a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with Human-Computer Interaction as my specialization. I am a designer and developer with a passion for Game Design, Artificial Intelligence and User Experience (UI/UX) because they allow me to create things both technically and narratively.

In all my projects, I practice iteration and experimentation; researching the issue, prototyping the problem, testing and refining the product until perfection. What I enjoy doing most is creating products that lie at the crossroads between interfaces and beyond: games that are influenced by the players, artificial intelligence that acknowledges its user, websites built for people.

Having been editing content and refining materials for almost two years now, I have acquired skills that make me more thorough in the design process.

Skills

• Build responsive, accessible web interfaces with semantic HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Develop component-based UIs in React with state, hooks, and modern patterns
• Design polished interface systems in Figma — components, variants, prototypes
• Translate research and user needs into wireframes, flows, and interaction design
• Produce visual assets in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe XD
• Apply programming foundations in Python and Java to logic-heavy problems
